This page lists every external service Parlé can connect to, grouped by what it is for. For each one it shows when Parlé contacts it, what it receives, and whose credential Parlé uses. For the overall picture, see the Architecture Overview. The services fall into two groups:
  • Services you choose. Your organization picks them and usually holds its own account with them: your AI provider, your storage, your identity provider, your connected apps.
  • Services Parlé relies on. Parlé uses them to run the product: hosting, managed models, search indexing, email, payments and analytics.

AI models

Every message needs a model to answer it. Parlé sends the model what it needs for the answer: the conversation so far, the project’s standing instructions, and any file excerpts or tool results the agent has gathered. With your own key, you hold the relationship with that AI company and its data terms apply. Parlé stores the key in its secrets vault, uses it only when it makes a call, and never shows it to a browser. See Connecting Providers.

File storage

Each project keeps its files in one place. With SharePoint or Google Drive, files stay in your own tenant: Parlé reads and writes them there rather than copying them elsewhere. See Native Storage.

Sign-in

If you connect a Microsoft account, Parlé may also fetch your own profile photo from Microsoft to show as your avatar. See Single Sign-On.

Microsoft Teams

If your organization links a Teams channel to a project, Microsoft Teams sends Parlé the messages in which someone mentions Parlé. Parlé may also read recent messages in that channel for context, and it posts the answer back into the channel, or a link to it when not everyone in the channel is a member of the project.

Connected apps

Connected apps let the agent work in systems your firm already uses. Each one is connected once, then switched on for the projects that need it. When the agent uses a tool, the app receives the request the agent writes, which can include text from the conversation, and Parlé receives the app’s reply. The credential belongs to the organization, the project or each user, depending on how the app was connected. It is stored by Parlé and never sent to a browser. See Integrations and Credential Scopes. If your organization switches Web Search on (it is off by default), an agent that has it can search the web. The search query the agent writes is sent to Brave on Parlé’s account. Nothing else from the conversation is sent. See Web Search.

Services Parlé relies on

Parlé does not use your content to train AI models, and it does not sell your data.
